The Wright Family

Jabari and Sekani are former Culture at Home members (2006-2010) and I had the privilege of teaching them in middle and high school, Their altruism, passion, heart, spirit, intellect, insight and work ethics deserve recognition.  I am so very proud of these amazing young men, their accomplishments as educators and their future.

I am really proud to have these two great teachers as sons. We need more effective, caring and nurturing Black men in school classrooms. What Jabari Akil and Sekani Azikiwe do for children every day is very special and important. The future is bright (and so are those lights behind us...man!)! 😊
